Vegan chocolate oreo nice cream

IMG_1270-minWeekend treat for vegans! Had so much greasy hangover food this weekend, but sometimes you just need it ūüôā I had an awesome weekend in Copenhagen with two of my best girlfriends, so that of course required some good, tasty chocolate-y treats for hangover day with Magic Mike ūüėČ

Chocolate nice cream (BIG portion, 4-5 people or 3 girls with hangover)

  • 8 frozen bananas (peel, cut into small pieces and freeze for 6 hours or longer)
  • 200 ml coconut milk
  • 1 dl cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla powder or 2 vanilla sticks
  • 2 tablespoons stevia
  • a pinch of salt
  • 50-100 g dark vegan chocolate
  • a pack of Oreos

Take out the bananas from the freezer, put them in a bowl with vanilla, stevia and salt. Add the coconut milk little by little while you blend with a handblender, you only need a little bit to help you blend easier. Once your banana pieces are all blended well, chop the chocolate and add it with the cocoa powder. Stir well. If the nice cream is a little too warm/soft you can put it in the freezer for an hour or so, and it will be way nicer when it’s cold. If you eat it after many hours in the freezer just take it out 10 minutes prior to serving to soften it up a bit. Serve in bowls with crunched Oreos on top.

Chokolade¬†vegansk is (STOR¬†portion, 4-5 portioner¬†eller 3 piger¬†med¬†t√łmmerm√¶nd)

  • 8 frosne¬†bananer (skr√¶llede, sk√•ret i sm√• stykker og frosset i mindst 6 timer)
  • 200 ml¬†kokosm√¶lk
  • 1 dl¬†kakaopulver
  • 2 spiseskeer¬†vaniljepulver eller to st√¶nger vanilje
  • 2 spiseskeer¬†stevia
  • en knivspids salt
  • 50-100 g m√łrk¬†vegansk¬†chokolade (kan bl.a. k√łbes i F√łtex)
  • en pakke¬†Oreos

Tag bananerne ud af fryseren, put dem i en sk√•l med vanilje, stevia og salt. Tilf√łj kokosm√¶lken lidt af gangen, mens du blender med en stavblender. Du skal kun bruge en lille smule, s√• du bedre kan blende. N√•r bananerne er helt blendede, hakker du chokoladen og tilf√łjer den sammen med kakaopulveret. R√łr godt. Hvis isen er lidt for varm/bl√łd, kan du s√¶tte den i fryseren i en times tid – den vil smage meget bedre, hvis den er ordentlig kold. Hvis du spiser den efter mange timer i fryseren, skal du bare lige have den ud 10 minutter inden servering, s√• den ikke er stenh√•rd. Serv√©r i sk√•le med Oreo stykker drysset ovenp√•.
