Bean spread

IMG_1339-min IMG_1340-minI’m always trying to find new vegan spreads, the wonderful thing is, there are so many veggies that can easily be transformed into yummy, tasty spread to make you and your bread happy ūüôā

Bean spread

  • 1 can of¬†butter beans
  • 1 handful peanuts
  • 1 turmeric root
  • a small piece of ginger root
  • 1 carrot
  • optional: 1 tablespoon of the water from a can of chickpeas or the water you used to boil dried chickpeas (it helps the spread stay together)
  • 2 tablespoons soy cream
  • a few drops of soy sauce
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • spices: salt, pepper, paprika, curry, herb de provence, chilli (add to taste)

 

Put everything in a foodprocessor (add spices to taste, and yes you can taste it before baking, vegan food is both cruelty free and danger-free), and if you want a finer texture, re-blend with a handblender. Bake in the oven at 200¬įC for 10-15 minutes, adjust time¬†to how soft or crispy you want the surface to be.

  • valgfrit: 1 spiseske¬†kik√¶rtevand fra d√•sen eller gryden du kogte dem i¬†(det holder sammen p√• postejen)
  • 2 spiseskeer¬†sojafl√łde (f.eks. Naturli Soya Cuisine)
  • nogle f√• dr√•ber sojasauce
  • 1 fed hvidl√łg
  • 1 lille¬†l√łg
  • 2 spiseskeer¬†olivenolie
  • krydderier: salt, peber, paprika, karry, herb de provence, chili (tilf√łjes efter smag)

Put alting¬†i en foodprocessor (tilf√łj krydderier efter smag, jeps du kan sagtens smage p√• r√• vegansk mad), og hvis du vil have en finere konsistens, blender du bare igen med en stavblender. Bages i ovnen p√•¬†200¬įC i¬†10-15 minutter,¬†just√©r tiden alt efter hvor spr√łd eller bl√łd, du vil have overfladen til at v√¶re.
